Seriously, this is some zero-tolerance shit.

There’s no way to reconcile Nazism with America. We have our flaws and our shortcomings, but we have ALWAYS claimed to stand for freedom from persecution.

But now we’ve let the billionaire class destroy our country and make us beg for scraps, and we believe them when they tell us that minorities are to blame? Are you kidding me?

White people didn’t build this country. Slaves built this country. Indentured servants built this country. Poor immigrants built this country. America amassed its wealth on the backs of free and nearly-free labor. And most white people just struggled to survive. It was only a handful of rich people that exploited everyone else, regardless of color.

But when times get tough, the rich get nervous. And the easiest scapegoats are the weakest among us. So they blame the economy on immigrants (it used to be the Jews, but they’re still useful for now). Crime on Black people. Moral corruption on trans folks. And it’s all bullshit.

Then of course those groups get scared, and so they try to assert their basic right to exist. But some of them will go too extreme and start calling out “whites” instead of the rich. Calling them all colonizers and racists and oppressors.

And then the rich use that as proof that, by golly, these godless groups are trying to destroy “our” way of life. Me, the white billionaire man, and you, the rural worker making 50K a year… we’re the same. We’re both good, hardworking Christian people. But these godless heathens are erasing our heritage! They want the real history of this country to be taught. They’re asking for equality, and sometimes that means that we have to sacrifice some of our privilege to give them a chance to catch up.

They must be stopped.

And so the elites ratchet up the fear and the hatred, little by little. It doesn’t happen overnight, that would be too obvious. But they feed a steady stream of propaganda over the course of years, they use certain words and show certain images to manipulate our emotions ever so slowly, until we eventually forget our humanity and our decency.

They weaponize religion by using the symbols and ignoring the actual teachings, until everyone gradually just associates that religion with their propaganda, even though everything in that religion goes against everything that they’re saying.

And they start “dog whistling” to the really extreme groups, saying and doing things that very clearly signal their support for their extreme ideologies, but being juuuust vague enough that they can claim that’s not what they meant and they are being attacked by the media or the opposition or whomever.

And all of this has been happening in America for the last 15 years. And before that it was happening in the 60’s and 70’s. And before that in the 20’s and 30’s. Remember that “America First” was a literal Nazi movement in the United States, and that the American Nazi Party held rallies that filled up Madison Square Garden.

This shit ain’t new.

And now we’re at the point where the Republican party– the “party of freedom”– is openly throwing seig heil salutes, replacing the FBI with loyalists and telling them not to investigate white supremacy extremists but to focus on “antifa” and “communists.”

We are genuinely entering a fascist state with Nazi sympathies, to put it mildly.

America didn’t wake up to the evil of the Nazi regime until they saw the images from the concentration camps. But then our consciences kicked in and we went and beat the shit out of those Nazi fuckers.

Let’s not wait until we have to see the horrific images from our own “illegal alien detention centers.” Remember that it doesn’t happen overnight, but it is happening.

Be a real patriot.
